Heliophile

Heliophile is a cozy exploration and mining game centered around the idea of sunlight and Vitamin D as the key to survival.

You play as Lynae (they/them, a plant–human hybrid) trying to lift their family out of poverty. After being hired by a suspicious corporation, they begin work as a miner to both sustain themselves and repay crushing debt—all while battling vitamin D deficiency.

After selling your soul to the plants and getting scammed, your family is now in poverty. However will you make it back? Fear not, The Incorporated Owners of Unlimited Money Limited Corporation Association Society, Inc. have just hired you as their miners! With your Vitamin D deficiency, mine as many ores underground as you can before needing to go back up to the surface for the sun! Use your hard-earned money from your ores to upgrade your gear and equipment to delve deeper beneath the surface for more valuable ores!
